WHAT IS IYENGAR YOGA?
Iyengar Yoga is the world’s most widely practised method of yoga. Developed by Yogacharya Sri B.K.S. Iyengar, it is a form of Hatha Yoga that emphasizes detail in alignment, and safety in the performance of each asana

WHAT'S DIFFERENT ABOUT IYENGAR YOGA?
Iyengar yoga has the benefit of being accessible to people of all abilities because of its use of props – such as foam bricks, blocks, belts and even chairs – which Mr Iyengar introduced. They enable the practitioner to experience the essence of the asana no matter their physical capability. This means that every body is able to work to improve their strength, stability and mobility

WHY CHOOSE MANDALA YOGA BODIES?
Mandala Yoga Bodies aims to reach out to and enable those people who have, for whatever reason, thought themselves out of place in a conventional yoga class setting.
Book A class

"I believe that like a Mandala, we are each unique entities – miniature universes full of complexity.
When we focus on and within ourselves we can appreciate and wonder at what fantastic beings we are."
Tina

"Tina covers all bases, because she explains the pose and then gives options for knee, hip or whatever issues.  Also I like the fact that she gives the benefits of the poses. If I feel uncomfortable with anything I adjust back to what is best for me."
Tracy H

"I really enjoy yoga with Tina and look forward to it. The yoga exercises are hard work but I really feel the benefit of them."

The Wise Words of  Guruji

“Yoga is for everyone. You need not be an expert or at the peak of physical fitness to practice the asanas described...Yoga helps to integrate the mental and the physical plane, bringing about a sense of inner and outer balance, or what I term alignment. True alignment means that the inner mind reaches every cell and fiber of the body.”
B. K. S. Iyengar
